Welcome to the chair of Prof. Rädler. Below is useful information and guidelines what is expected from you during your first days with us.
First, please provide some information about yourself by sending an email to this mailing-list. Please write a short paragraph including informations such as: topic of your research, which (sub)group you are working in (which advisor), and where you’re sitting. Also, please add a small photo (max. 100kB).

You can get a login and help to computer-related problems from the computer administrator of your group. Currently, the administrators are:
Daniel Woschée, Timon Funck, Clemens Liewald, Benedikt von Bronk, and Valentin Stierle
Please consult the wiki and your colleagues before troubling the administrators. They are fellow students; it is not their main job to help you out.

Most students choose to enlist as Center of Nanoscience (CeNS) associates at
http://www.cens.de/ .
The CeNS is a research network spanning groups from LMU, TU, University of Augsburg and others in whose activities the chair participates strongly.
